This Pastorate came into being on 1st April 1997 is situated on the National Highways from Tirunelveli to Madurai, 8 kms away from Tirunelveli. Prior to this, the congregations of the Pastorate were with Nanjankulam Pastorate.

There is a T.D.T.A. Primary School at Veppankulam. This Pastorate is sponsoring two Missionaries. There are more than 50 young men to serve the Lord Through ten Small Bible Study Groups. The Holy Immanuel Church at Thalaiyuthu celebrate church dedication and Asanam on 25th January and Harvest festival in the second week of August. The Christ church as. North Thalaiyuthu celebrates Church Dedication and Asanam on 11th August and Harvest Festival in the second week of November. The St.John's Church at Veepankulam holds Church Dedication and Asanam on 9th February and Harvest Festivel in the Third Week of July.
