Suviseshapuram Pastorate was established by Pioneer Missionaries of Rev. Rehnius and Bishop Sargent. They bought Krishnapuram Village from Krishnarayer and named the Settlement as Suviseshapuram in 1835. All the inhabitants became Christians. A beautiful church was built in 1847 and dedicated in 1848. Suviseshapuram Pastorate became a circle with five pastorates with fifty two Congregations. Now the Pastorate has seven congregations. The future plans of the pastorate are to raise financial position of the pastorate, build new school buildings and raise a new congregation at Vegineri.
