Suviseshapuram Pastorate

About the Pastorate

Suviseshapuram Pastorate was established by Pioneer Missionaries of Rev. Rehnius and Bishop Sargent. They bought Krishnapuram Village from Krishnarayer and named the Settlement as Suviseshapuram in 1835. All the inhabitants became Christians. A beautiful church was built in 1847 and dedicated in 1848. Suviseshapuram Pastorate became a circle with five pastorates with fifty two Congregations. Now the Pastorate has seven congregations.
