The Maharajanagar Pastorate was recently formed. In 1967 a Sunday School was started at a residence and it later became a place for the Church service. Some staff nurses of High Grounds Government Hospital started assembling for Sunday evening worship. This soon got momentum and more and more people started attending Sunday worships. Thereafter worship was had in a rental building. The members of this Congregation made lot of efforts and succeeded in buying a land and constructing a church. Foundation for the present Holy Trinity Church was laid by the Rt. Rev. Daniel Abraham and the new Church was dedicated by the Rt. Rev. Jason S. Darmaraj on 9.2.86. This congregation became a pastorate in1995.
